What is
"Visual Communication?"

Communication processes that rely primarily on rich visual content as the means of conveying information: Photos, video, synthetic images - plus audio /text/data.

The Visual Communication Advocacy Program has three core

 components:

a book that will change the way businesses communicate, both internally and with their key constituencies.

a PR campaign around the book launch that will make the book a must read for every business executive; and

a dynamic web site that will provide additional industry and application specific information that is constantly updated, and discussion forums to continue the dialogue begun by the book.

Alexis Gerard and Bob Goldstein are currently engaged in a worldwide examination of imaging technology and infrastructure as it relates to the human need for visual communication. They are in conversation with business leaders, technologists, artists, educators, financial analysts and others who are shaping the future of communication in the Digital Age. Their goal is to present a clear, easy-to-understand vision of what that future will look like in order to help business people grasp the importance of adopting visual communication strategies today, and providing some guiding principles to successfully do that.

For additional promotional activities that include conferences, speaking engagements and published reports and magazine sections, check the section below. These components are designed to interact with the each other in order to provide a tidal wave of acceptance of Visual Communication as a rapidly evolving paradigm shift in the way humans communicate on a global basis.

“Over the past decade our firm has been immersed in tracking three key trends: The digitization of images, the spread of imaging-capable PCs and Appliances, and the emergence of the Web as a global communications infrastructure.” said Alexis Gerard, President, Future Image Inc. “Today, the convergence of these three trends, and the broad accessibility of the tools they have generated, are poised to revolutionize the way people communicate with each other both locally and globally. In the Visual Communication era, businesses at every level, and ultimately individuals, are enabled to wield the power of images in order to achieve their communication goals.”
